Sree Narayana Guru Institute of Science and Technology, commonly known as SNGIST located at the shrubs of Cochin, 23 km away from the city. The college has the built up area of more than 50,000 Sq.feet with all the most modern amenities including canteen, hostels for men and women, adequate recreational area and facilities for outdoor games. The college got ISO 9001:2000 certification to its credit.

The college is owned and managed by Gurudeva Trust. A fifteen-member board of trustees administers the Trust. The main objective of the Trust is to establish centers of excellence in education based on the preachings of Sree Narayana Guru.
MBA
There are 120 seats for the MBA of which 60 are in the open category and the remaining in the management quota. Admission to the merit and management seats is through Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA), Group Discussion and Interview. MAT is conducted four times in a year in September, December, February and May. The aspirants must obtain the MAT application and bulletin during the time notified for the respective MAT’s , from the college or from AIMA and opt for SNGIST. Based on MAT score applicants are called for GD and Interview. Candidates may apply for ASMIK-MAT at the time of notification and opt for SNGIST. They will be called for GD and Interview based on their performance in the test and opt for SNGIST.* Master of Business Administration(MBA).
MCA
There are 60 seats for MCA of which 30 are in merit quota and the remaining in the management quota. For merit and management quota, candidates have to apply for the common entrance examination by the Government of Kerala and opt for SNGIST at the time of counseling. They must apply separately to the college.
The library of the institute functions in a separate block, where you can make use of one of the best collections of books and journals. It has more than 8000 volumes monographs and 80 printed journals. The institute has subscribed to e-journals and has access to over 5000 international journals in the areas of management EBSCO and computer science IEEE. The library is fully automated and you can search the holdings by using the OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue). The library also provides Digital Library (Greenstone) and Reprographic Services.
